Summer vibes

 Hi everyone!

Are you enjoying your days outside? I certainly am. The sun is shining, the birds are singing and I’m feeling fully energized! I am still stuck at school every day, I will be taking my exams in 2 years time so I’ve still got loads of time to prepare for that. I am,however, very busy with school projects, homework and revising for tests that are of great importance. But that’s okay because eventually all the time spent on schoolwork will hopefully pay off :)

When I come home after school the weather is super nice which is really great, but I’ve also noticed that I’ve been wanting to eat something fresh which makes me feel full. Until recently I wasn’t able find a snack that fits all my demands. After a while, however, I did see lots of pictures on Instagram of a dessert called nicecream. Nicecream basically consists of a few frozen bananas, blended and mixed with several other ingredients such as berries and dates. I made this healthy ‘icecream’ dish today and it was soo good!

I was wondering if any of you have any suggestions on what ingredients to combine with nicecream, please do let me know in the comment section below!

See you soon!

What’s your favourite summer snack? And have you got any cool activities planned yet?

Clothing haul

Hi lovess,

After a 2 month blogging break I’m back at it!

I don’t have an excuse for my abscence, neither do I want to apologize, because I felt this was best for me. I’m a firm believer of always listening  to what your instincts tell you and what makes YOU happy. For a while, I didn’t have this exciting rush before and after writing a blogpost anymore and when you post something online you’re aren’t too sure of it’s out there for everyone to see. I feel like I would deprive myself if I shared ideas and thoughts that weren’t the best I could offer. But now I am back and full of energy to hopefully inspire you all!

Yesterday, I went into town and I picked up 2 amazing bargains. ) I bought a beautiful belt which was made in India and a preppy blazer from an unknown brand which I had seen on ebay the other day for 50 pounds!

I know for a fact that a lot of people don’t like second hand clothing at all and I must admit I was one of  them until recently. I found out that there are actual things that I like, sold for a fraction of the original price.  I would recommend mixing old and new clothes together, because you’ll look modern, though with a unique touch!

See you soon!

What are your opinions on vintage/second handed clothing?

Spring feelings

Hi everyone!

You probably know I’m a big winter/autumn lover and even though I feel a bit sad that the cold days are starting to come to an end I am very excited for spring! The days of waking up with the sun on your face and the sound of birds singing outside are nearly upon us! This sounds so relaxing and I think I won’t ever be able to pick a favourite season simply because I love all of them hehe. Also, to improve your summer/spring mood you should defenitely listen to the song King by Years and Years, it’s honestly so good!

To make the best out of the warmer seasons I kind of made a whole list of things I want to do this spring, including a city trip to Amsterdam (expect pretty pictures :) , a massive shopping spree and, since my body can’t really cope with dairy, finding the perfect fresh smoothie recipe is a must!, If you have any recommendations let me know, I’d love to hear your suggestions!

For now, I’ll leave you with a few pretty pictures to get you in the right mood ;)

What’s your favourite season and do you already have plans for spring/summer season?

Interior inspiration #2

A Walk Through Southern Paris

Hi everyone!

Another interior inspiration post today, simply because I really enjoy collecting all the pictures shown here and finding out what I like and what I don’t like.

With the help of my beloved Pinterest I created a moodboard where I put all the things that inspire me. I found that I really like open, modern spaces with little details that make it unique and cosy. For me, that’s very important, because whenever I look at a photo in a lifestyle-magazine I picture myself in it. After all, when you live somewhere you have to feel comfortable and at home.

What’s your favourite picture and what do you look for in a home?

Love the look: Parisienne

Hi everyone!

In my opinion some of the most stylish women on the planet live in France, the so-called Parisiennes really do have the whole package; they have an amazing taste in fashion and perfected the I-just-got-out-of-bed look we all want ( including the messy bun).

Either way, we non-Parisian people will  never have that particular, effortless attitude/style but we can at least pretend by wearing a similar ‘Tenue du Jour” which is translated as Look of the Day for some of you french-newbies out there :)

I put a few items together I think you’ll like if you’re a fan of this style, so here we go!

1. Skirt: Monki/ 2.Top: Comme des Garçons/ 3. Blazer: Monki/ 4. Hat: Selected/ 5. Necklace: Isabel Marant/ 6. Earrings: Forever 21

Are you a fan of the Parisian fashion style?

Artsy #2

Hi everyone!

I have been away for a while, 2 weeks to be specific, mainly because I caught a flu the other day and spent all my time shattered on the couch, but also because I went on vacation to Austria to go skiing with family and friends!

Now, I want to share something with you which made me really, really happy. The other day, I was nominated by the lovely and extremely talented Claudia, she’s a wonderful person with an amazing blog; Style Chez Moi. She nominated me for the Liebster Award, it’s an award which is presented from one blogger to another aspiring blogger, this way you are able to show each other  your support and dedication.

Regardless of the ‘rules’ of this award which contains of posting a tag with questions about yourself, I am not going to do this, simply because I feel like posting that tag wouldn’t fit my blog’s look and feel. But nevertheless I am honoured to be nominated for this award, thank you so much Claudia.

Let’s get on with the actual subject, which is art. I know this artist is quite similar to the artist I talked about in this post but nonetheless I wanted to share her work. I just love this unique way of creating, it makes me feel all nostalgic but at the same time her creations are also really cool and new.

Who’s your favourite artist and do you know a cool blogger who is worth checking out?

Love the dainty pearl one!

Hi everyone!

I think every girl’s got that one, precious piece of jewellery she tends to wear a lot. In my case it’s a heart-shaped necklace which I got from my grandparents because they had been married for 50 years. The necklace is made of gold and very dainty and beautiful, it goes with almost everything and I sometimes feel like it gives me luck when I need it most.

See you soon!

Hi everyone!

I’ve been wanting to show you  the pictures I took throughout the year because I can honestly say I’m very proud of them. Please do remind yourselves of the fact that I’m not a pro, i don’t even own a real camera.

See you soon

All pictures are taken with an Iphone 4.

These pictures are mine, you shouldn’t use them.

 Hi everyone!

I took a break from blogging the past week because I was extremely busy with school, exams and stuff like that. Thank god it’s over know, I was starting to get very tired from all the revision. I did find something to help me though; it sounds weird but candles seem to help me study better, I don’t know why but it really worked. I hope my results are okay, but I’m pretty sure I completely messed Management and Organisation up :(.

On a more positive note, I am totally addicted to Gossip Girl, I am late on the trend, I know, but I just never got round to watching it! New York, Chuck Bass and Nate Archibald of course (hehe) are great, not to mention the amazing wardrobes everyone in the show seems to own!

For now I’ll leave you with my list of favourite clothes I’ve seen on the Internet, And oh my god, there are so many items I want to buy but I resisted the urge to put everything in my shopping basket.

Ps: would you like to see outfit posts?

I’d love to hear some of your suggestions on sale-shopping.

Ever think to yourself, I could never pull that off, but it sure is fun watching someone else do it! ?

Hi everyone!

I am not a big fan of accessoires, I don’t own a lot of necklaces, earrings or handbags. I like to focus on essential pieces in my closet, like jeans, sweaters and blouses. However, I am not trying to say that I never wear accessoires because I do, but I don’t feel like I need to buy a lot of them to create diverse outfits!

But recently I am getting into hats, even though they are accessoires I find that they can give you a parisian, sophisticated but at the same time, cool look. Shops offer a huge amount of hats  and I feel like I don’t even know where to begin so I’m just going to give it a go and do an inspiration post all about hats.

Even though hats look really nice on and everyone seems to love them, I find it a bit scary to wear them. It’s a bit of a statement and I don’t know if I can pull them off, but we’ll see in the (near?) future!

See you soon!

Ps: Do you guys like all these inspiration posts?

What’s your favourite piece of clothing? And do you like hats?
