Summer vibes

 Hi everyone!

Are you enjoying your days outside? I certainly am. The sun is shining, the birds are singing and I’m feeling fully energized! I am still stuck at school every day, I will be taking my exams in 2 years time so I’ve still got loads of time to prepare for that. I am,however, very busy with school projects, homework and revising for tests that are of great importance. But that’s okay because eventually all the time spent on schoolwork will hopefully pay off :)

When I come home after school the weather is super nice which is really great, but I’ve also noticed that I’ve been wanting to eat something fresh which makes me feel full. Until recently I wasn’t able find a snack that fits all my demands. After a while, however, I did see lots of pictures on Instagram of a dessert called nicecream. Nicecream basically consists of a few frozen bananas, blended and mixed with several other ingredients such as berries and dates. I made this healthy ‘icecream’ dish today and it was soo good!

I was wondering if any of you have any suggestions on what ingredients to combine with nicecream, please do let me know in the comment section below!

See you soon!

What’s your favourite summer snack? And have you got any cool activities planned yet?

Spring feelings

Hi everyone!

You probably know I’m a big winter/autumn lover and even though I feel a bit sad that the cold days are starting to come to an end I am very excited for spring! The days of waking up with the sun on your face and the sound of birds singing outside are nearly upon us! This sounds so relaxing and I think I won’t ever be able to pick a favourite season simply because I love all of them hehe. Also, to improve your summer/spring mood you should defenitely listen to the song King by Years and Years, it’s honestly so good!

To make the best out of the warmer seasons I kind of made a whole list of things I want to do this spring, including a city trip to Amsterdam (expect pretty pictures :) , a massive shopping spree and, since my body can’t really cope with dairy, finding the perfect fresh smoothie recipe is a must!, If you have any recommendations let me know, I’d love to hear your suggestions!

For now, I’ll leave you with a few pretty pictures to get you in the right mood ;)

What’s your favourite season and do you already have plans for spring/summer season?

Interior inspiration #2

Hi everyone!

Another interior inspiration post today, simply because I really enjoy collecting all the pictures shown here and finding out what I like and what I don’t like.

With the help of my beloved Pinterest I created a moodboard where I put all the things that inspire me. I found that I really like open, modern spaces with little details that make it unique and cosy. For me, that’s very important, because whenever I look at a photo in a lifestyle-magazine I picture myself in it. After all, when you live somewhere you have to feel comfortable and at home.

What’s your favourite picture and what do you look for in a home?

Artsy #2

Hi everyone!

I have been away for a while, 2 weeks to be specific, mainly because I caught a flu the other day and spent all my time shattered on the couch, but also because I went on vacation to Austria to go skiing with family and friends!

Now, I want to share something with you which made me really, really happy. The other day, I was nominated by the lovely and extremely talented Claudia, she’s a wonderful person with an amazing blog; Style Chez Moi. She nominated me for the Liebster Award, it’s an award which is presented from one blogger to another aspiring blogger, this way you are able to show each other  your support and dedication.

Regardless of the ‘rules’ of this award which contains of posting a tag with questions about yourself, I am not going to do this, simply because I feel like posting that tag wouldn’t fit my blog’s look and feel. But nevertheless I am honoured to be nominated for this award, thank you so much Claudia.

Let’s get on with the actual subject, which is art. I know this artist is quite similar to the artist I talked about in this post but nonetheless I wanted to share her work. I just love this unique way of creating, it makes me feel all nostalgic but at the same time her creations are also really cool and new.

Who’s your favourite artist and do you know a cool blogger who is worth checking out?

Lazy day

❂ “Isn't it odd how much fatter a book gets when you've read it several times? As if something were left between the pages every time you read it. Feelings, thoughts, sounds, smells...and then, when you look at the book again many years later, you find yourself there, too, a slightly younger self, slightly different, as if the book had preserved you like a pressed flower...both strange and familiar.” I Cornelia Funke, Inkspell

Hi everyone!

Do you ever have one of those days where you just want to lay in bed all day and do nothing? Well, I definitely have and as it happens, today is one of those days. I know this is kind of strange but when I was a child I didn’t enjoy sundays that much, I always felt like I was wasting my day, whereas now I’m glad to do nothing and just read a book or something from time to time.

The holiday has flown by and to my great disappointment school will be starting tomorrow so I have to catch up with some of the homework I left to my last day off. I did finish some assignments earlier though! Luckily I’m an organized person so it’s not in my nature to leave everthing to the last day.

See you soon!

Do you take a day off sometimes? What do you like to do when you’re chillin?

The start of something new!

Beyond ready for the new year, starts our amazing year, pretty damn excited about it all...

Hi everyone,

The title of this post hasn’t got anything to do with High School Musical in case that popped into your mind but everything with New Years Eve. 2014 has honestly flown by and 2015 is almost here! This year was wonderful, I ate sushi for the first time (and lóved it), I read a lot of English books, I started my own blog (after months of indecisiveness), I went to Lille and Amsterdam (2x), I drank loaads of tea, I went to the One Direction concert and I discovered loads of new musicians.

So this was my 2014 in a nutshell, I hope yours was amazing as well but before I go and wish you a happy new year I want to share my 2015 aspirations. Even though literally every blogger does this I still want to write them down, just as a little reminder to myself to stay close to what I want to achieve.

My goals:

1. I want to buy my own blog domain (.com instead of

2. I want to save some money to put in a jar, so I can use this if I want to go somewhere cool.

3. I want to go to a thriftshop.

4. I want to go outside more and especially run more.

5. I want to enjoy the little things in life more.

6. I want to see +/- 25 movies.

7. I want to read at least 10 books.

8. I want to go to England

9. I want to get a job

10. I want to reach 1K on Instagram

11. I want to get 100 followers on Bloglovin

12. I want to eat a Tony Chocolonely chocolate bar

13. I want to start shooting outfitposts

14. I want to get better at photography

And last but not least: Happy early new year to all of you!

See you soon!

What are your new year’s resolutions? And how was your 2014?

Instagram favourites #2

Hi everyone!

Once again, I’m going to round up my favourite instagram accounts for you lot. I’ve been quite active on instagram lately and I’ve been following a lot of new great photographers and bloggers who are allsuper talented! (Jealousy anyone?)

I find that there’s nothing better than scrolling through your instagram timeline filled with gorgeous pictures in the morning whilst drinking your tea. So, I present you my favourite instagrammers (Is that what you call them?), they deserve a little place on my blog and I’m glad to introduce them to you, hopefully you’ll love them as much as I do.

1. Barbaraschoumacher

It seems like Barbara uses some kind of magical app, because her pictures turn into actual artworks! They are quite romantic and have a nostalgic feel. Love her!

I’ve only just recently found this account, but I absolutely love it! Christie has done such a good job with her instagram account! You’ll find a lot of nature, mixed with style and fashion on her account.

3. Ellagracedenton

Oh my, what a lovely girl, she’s such an inspiring person! I sometimes feel like her personality is not real, she’s just so kind! I also really like that she loves to try something different from time to time, not everyone does that, she thinks out of the box.

4. Oceanpainter_

It was only yesterday or the day before, that I found Jessie’s account. She’s got her own blog too and I love the way she edits her photos. They look so gorgeous, she really has great editing skills. AND, she lives in London so you can expect to see lots of awesome shops and christmassy lights.

See you soon!

I want to know what your favourite instagram accounts are, leave a comment below and I”ll definitely have a look!
